14 Aug 2023

Ibstock has scooped an impressive 36 nominations for the 2023 Brick Awards, hosted by the Brick Development Association (BDA).

Ibstock has received the highest number of shortlisted entries across a range of projects, ranging from triple-digit unit housing developments to innovative single unit homes and urban regeneration projects. The Awards bring together the UK’s entire brickmaking sector to recognise excellence in manufacturing and design.

Shortlisted projects which feature Ibstock products include the eye-catching Kampus project in the Large Housing Development category; Manchester’s The Depot in Urban Regeneration; and Dovehouse Court Almhouses in the Sustainability field.

Kate Guy, Sales Director at Ibstock, commented: “The BDA Brick Awards are a cornerstone event for the brick industry, so it’s fantastic to be shortlisted for so many projects this year. The number of nominations is testament to not only the quality of our product, but the strength of our wider offering, not least our design and technical team, who’s guidance and expertise adds real value to every stage of a project’s lifecycle.

“From our incredible systems such as Nexus XI and MechSlip, to our market-leading offering to specifiers and architects, Ibstock is firing on all cylinders and this is reflected in the Brick Awards roster this year. It will be great to be with industry colleagues at the awards this November to celebrate our industry’s achievements.”

This year’s awards will be held on 08^th November at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.
