Ibstock Marks Major Milestone as First Purposed-Made Thin Brick Order Leaves Nostell Horizon Factory

We are proud to announce that the first order of Ibstock’s IBricks has officially left the Nostell Horizon factory, marking a major milestone for the business.

The IBrick is our purpose-made thin brick, manufactured at our new Nostell Horizon factory near Wakefield. This first dispatch represents the culmination of more than three years of planning, construction, testing and commissioning, bringing the project from concept through to full production.

The first order features the IBrick in Ashdown Cottage Mixture, demonstrating the quality and design intent behind the range. It is heading to our customer Reds10 and will be used on a major project where performance and precision are critical.

Commenting on the milestone, Andrew Shepherd, Ibstock Managing Director of Innovation & Growth said:
