Our Progress
Our Manufacturing Materials for Life pillar at Ibstock, is focused on evolving our existing product range, as well as bringing new lower embodied carbon products to the market. A few of our achievements from 2025 include:
£65 million investment in our new Atlas Pathfinder Factory, producing significantly lower carbon emissions per product than the previous factory (estimated at 50% reduction).
Nostell Horizon ceramics façade factory commissioning commenced on time and is the UK’s most advanced ceramic façade facility – producing the new IBrick® and innovative new solutions like FastWall®
Utilising Lifecycle Analysis (LCA) tools to inform product development and sustainability decisions.
Cement reduction roadmap established as part of our product evolution and Scope 3 reduction plans
We co-sponsored the publication on "Packaging Optimisation" by the Supply Chain Sustainability School, contributing to sustainable packaging practices in the construction industry.
Over 80% of spend with suppliers covered by the new Ibstock Supplier Commitments ensuring our supply chain adheres to the minimum standards of a responsible business.
